A large IT services and IT consulting company in Vancouver is hiring for this role. You will design and lead enterprise-scale Microsoft Fabric data architectures and the pipelines that move high-volume customer data. The role also sets the standards for governance, quality and delivery across the team.
What you'll do
- Design and lead enterprise-scale Microsoft Fabric data architectures
- Build reusable ELT frameworks
- Deliver high-volume batch and near-real-time customer data pipelines
- Establish governance, security, quality, lineage and metadata practices
- Optimize workloads, mentor engineers and lead code reviews and Agile delivery
What you bring
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric at enterprise scale
- Strong ELT and data pipeline design skills, both batch and near-real-time
- Working knowledge of data governance, security, lineage and metadata practices
- Experience optimizing data workloads
- Comfort mentoring engineers and leading code reviews in an Agile team
