About the role
A large transportation and logistics company in Dorval is hiring for this role. You will manage ocean import and export pricing, quotations, RFQs and tenders, and lead the team that produces them. The role exists to keep offers competitive while meeting profitability targets and deadlines.
What you'll do
- Manage ocean import and export pricing, quotations, RFQs and tenders
- Build competitive offers that meet profitability targets and deadlines
- Support sales efforts and customer retention
- Coordinate with operations and international partners
- Negotiate with carriers and suppliers, and lead the pricing and tender team
What you bring
- Experience in ocean freight pricing, quotations and tender responses
- Negotiation skills for working with carriers and suppliers
- Leadership ability to guide a pricing and tender team
- Comfort working with sales, operations and international partners
