About the role
A large manufacturing company in London is hiring for this role. You will keep plant equipment and production assets running, covering mechanical and low-voltage electrical systems, so the line loses as little time as possible to downtime.
What you'll do
- Install, maintain and troubleshoot plant equipment and production assets
- Work on mechanical and low-voltage electrical systems
- Carry out preventive maintenance and complete work orders
- Reduce production downtime by finding and fixing problems quickly
- Keep maintenance records and housekeeping up to date, following food safety, quality and safety procedures
What you bring
- Hands-on maintenance experience in a plant or production setting
- Mechanical skills suited to millwright work
- Working knowledge of low-voltage electrical systems
- Comfort with work orders, preventive maintenance and record keeping
- Commitment to food safety, quality and safety procedures
