About the role
A large motor vehicle manufacturing company in Brampton is hiring for this role. You will turn customer RFQs into manufacturing concepts and cost estimates, and lead continuous improvement across the company's manufacturing locations.
What you'll do
- Review customer RFQs and develop manufacturing concepts
- Prepare cost estimates, capital and tooling requirements
- Build process flows, layouts, cycle times and capacity analyses
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing locations
- Present technical concepts and coordinate with customers and cross-functional teams
What you bring
- Senior-level experience in advanced manufacturing or process engineering
- Ability to estimate cost, capital and tooling needs from a customer RFQ
- Experience with process flows, plant layouts, cycle times and capacity analysis
- Track record leading continuous improvement work
- Comfort presenting technical concepts to customers and internal teams
